White Flour Tortillas
Our white flour tortillas are our most popular and the most traditional style of flour tortilla in North of Mexico. They are the perfect shape for making tacos and have the perfect balance of flakiness and softness.
We only use flour that is unbleached, non-deodorized, and free from any chemicals or preservatives. We have chosen to use organic coconut oil as it is high heat stable and a healthier alternative than other oils. The sea salt is non iodized, and the baking powder is made without aluminum. All of our ingredients have been sourced from food suppliers that are Non GMO. Our attention to detail in the ingredients has come through to make a superior and delicious white flour tortilla.
Whole Wheat Flour Tortillas
Our whole wheat flour tortillas are offered for more health conscious customers. Whole wheat tortillas are not traditional to Mexico, but we feel it is important to have an alternative option for those seeking more fibre in their diets. They are also the ideal shape for making tacos and have been perfected so that flakiness and softness have not been compromised. They feel slightly more dense than the white tortillas, but are equally as tasty.
We use 100% whole wheat flour and white flour that is unbleached and non-deodorized. Both flours are free from any chemicals, additives, or preservatives. The rest of the ingredients are the same as our white flour tortilla.
In The Works
We are currently working on perfecting a gluten-free flour tortilla - we want to be sure we only make a tortilla we can be proud of. We would also like to offer tortillas with organic flour, and hope that this will soon be a possibility.
